Project duration

The tribal development projects under TDF involves several social processes, adopts family oriented approach involving around 500 families and envisage voluntary participation of individual families. Therefore, the total programme of plantation may be phased for 2 years and each phase be supported for a maximum period of five years depending on the fruit crops to be cultivated or allied or off-farm activities to be taken up. Thus, the projects with 2 phases should generally be fully implemented in a period of 6 years.
