Project size

The size of a project is determined by factors such as tribal clusters existing in the region, the potential of activities, etc. The average size of a project would be 200 to 500 families on a cluster basis.

In case of projects being taken up in North Eastern Region, Hilly states and other difficult areas or in case of new PIAs implementing their first project under TDF, the smaller projects of around 100 to 200 tribal families may also be considered for sanction.
