Steps in project implementation

The implementation of TDF projects involves several processes at various levels. The sequence/steps in implementation are indicated below

  • Potential mapping by the Regional office
  • Identifying priority areas for taking up tribal development projects
  • Selection of project implementing agency
  • Sanction of assistance for preparation of detailed Project Report (DPR) by PIA
  • Appraisal of project by NABARD Regional Office
  • Project sanction by Regional Office/Head Office depending on delegation of powers from time to time
  • Fund release to the PIAs
  • Execution of project measures by PIA/communities
